Restore Files - Part 1

The process of Restoring files is simple, and very similar to that of performing a backup, except in reverse.

IMPORTANT: Remember that in order to Restore files, they must have been included in a previously completed Backup.

To begin, select the Restore tab located below the button bar as shown above.

The BSP client application will establish a connection to our secure Backup server in our Data Center via the Internet.

Note the long thin button located below the Restore tab in the illustration on the left above.  In the above example, the button says “Files Before 6/19/2007 10:24 AM”.  Click this button to display a drop-down list of available Backup Events from which to restore files from.

The BSP client will retrieve a list of all the files available to Restore from the selected Backup Event.  Select the files you wish to restore by clicking the checkbox to the left of each file or folder.

When all the files you would like to Restore have been selected, drop down the Restore menu and select Restore Now.
